Lovely morning light on a random street in Mudgee. Once a gold rush town, now famous for the vineyards in the region, this little jewel in the central west NSW has so much more to offer. Old heritage buildings line up along the main roads bring us back in time. It’s magic moments when the rising sun lit up the facades of these beautiful buildings.

I love visiting my sister-in-law who has an orchard full of apples, pears, plums, cherries. It’s such a joy to pick fresh fruits from the trees and they taste absolutely amazing. Painted some apples today as they symbolise peace, joy and happiness.
I was taking a stroll in the neighbourhood and noticed this Australian king parrot right beside the road on a low branch that I could almost touch it. It definitely didn’t mind that I stood close and taking a video of it eating the beans. I was totally amazed how dexterous its beak is. A fascinating encounter of nature at the door step. This is the reason I love Australia 😍
Another perfect day for plein air and sand between the toes at Balmoral beach. Balmoral becomes a favourite cause Mum loves to take a stroll on the promenade while I paint 😎.
Tasmania is such a beautiful island and bay of fire is probably my personal favourite. I love how the bright yellows and oranges on the rocks contrast with the blues and turquoises of the water. Heaven for someone who is crazy about colours 😍
We stayed at a farm in the blue mountains and I love the time spent with the animals. The owner of the B&B is an animal lover and it was so moving how she share the loving moments with her animal buddies 😍

The funniest bird encounter in Parque Das Aves near Iguazu falls. It was like a real life Rio movie- Two Hyacinth Macaw was playing with a knife and discovered by the park employee. They were so mad that their escape plan was foiled and went into bickering. Have to paint them 😂😂😂
I always thought Mallorca is an overdeveloped tourist island. Didn’t expect I would fall in love with it in the deep winter of a pandemic. The beaches were so deserted that we felt like walking into a zombie movie. But I guess I love this emptiness. There was barely any tourist. Walking in the villages in the morning when they are slowly waking up, I can only hear birds chirping, dogs barking, roosters crowing. The smoke of locals burning woods covered the valley full of citrus trees with a light blue mist. I love the cactus in the garden of this cottage. Picture perfect! I think I can totally stay here for a month just to enjoy and paint 😊
Just back from a six-week trip to South America. I found it so funny when I woke up and saw the red light under the TV, my first thought was “oh, crocodile!” Then I realized I was not in Brazil any more and I was a bit disappointed. I never expect this Brazil trip would leave such a huge impact on me. It was like stepping into Zootopia and I’ve never been surrounded by so many wildlife in my life!
And I had the cutest toucan encounter! Not sure why the zipper on my pant pocket is so attractive, this cutie jumped beside me and played with it for quite a while. I was super happy to just stand there and enjoy the magic moment 😍😍😍
A perfect day at Sydney Taronga zoo . Watching the chimps arrange the straws before lying down on a cold day really makes us realize how much they are like us. Love how these two are looking at each other as if in love. Have to paint one😍😍😍
